Is your Plant Perfect?

Last week in Hertogenbosch, Netherlands Atos Origin and SAP put on an event featuring presentations from ASML on the recent “perfect plant” project won by Atos Origin and SAP, based on the Atos M4MES methodology.

The event was coordinated by the Netherlands team, Wijnand Engelen , with presentations from myself, Tom Kuipers and John McNiff (SAP).

During this session, SAP and Atos Origin demonstrated how to achieve business value from an investment in Perfect Plant. The focus was on enabling manufacturing excellence, instead of solely on optimizing IT systems.

The Q&A session produced some probing questions, and some pragmatic answers, and the informal reception afterwards continued for at least 2 hours!

All the attendees took home a poignant gift – an Orchid – The Perfect Plant!
