As part of their continual professional development, three Atos Origin developers designed and created a mobile application as part of a Microsoft sponsored government application contest. The contest was to develop an application for the new Microsoft Windows Phone platform benefitting U.S. State and/or Local Government governments, employees or citizens. River Watch is the result of the developers initiative and willingness to spend their own personal time and resources to develop while providing a valuable resource to the City of Fort Wayne and it’s citizens.
River Watch provides mobile, up-to-date and visual access to the City of Fort Wayne, Indiana flood stage and rain gauge data. View current river and rain gauge levels as well as trending over the last 30 days for each individual gauge. Create a list of favorite gauges to immediately see their status, view an interactive map identifying each gauge and, using color coded map pins, quickly identify gauges indicating an occurring event.
